Jonathan Receives Nomination For Nobel

Former President Goodluck Jonathan gets recommendation from the Africa Political and Economic Strategic Center (AFRIPOL) for the Nobel Peace Prize.

The public policy organisation on African affairs stated that Peace Prize be awarded to whoever “shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses”.

The organisation also noted that: He may have not promoted “fraternity between nations” but he surely promoted fraternal peace among Nigerians by conceding power.’

In addition the group maintained that the concession speech by President Jonathan averted bloodshed, imbroglio and violence in the most populous country in Africa.
